The development of a new methodology for fire safety design is now at a stage that the DBH is seeking assistance from the design fraternity to test the methodology and provide feedback. The Department has been developing this new methodology for fire design compliance alongside revised Building Code clauses.
The Department is running workshops on the field testing at the times and venues listed in the attached DBH letter. Any SFPE members interested in taking part in this field testing should attend on of the workshop events. Please refer to the letter attached and contact the DBH if you require further information.
